Invisible Mouse Cursor Ubuntu & Synergy

Invisible Mouse Cursor Ubuntu & Synergy

Use Synergy screen share and can't see your mouse pointer?

Using a Win7 Synergy server and Ubuntu 14.04 Synergy client. The mouse was moving between screens and right click etc working however mouse pointer is invisible. The fix is quite easy;

In your Ubuntu client open a terminal and type;

gsettings set org.gnome.settings-daemon.plugins.cursor active false

Your mouse pointer will appear as if magic.

This is an addition to Synergy Screen Share.
